AcrossRCA is a programmed which allows students to devise and run their own workshops to students from across different programmes over the course of a week.

 

Myself and two other MA Writing students ran a 3-day workshop entitled 'You enter a white room: Writing on/as/around artworks', with the aim of "opening up the possibilities of text for practice-based students". 

 

The act of ekphrasis was explored through a number of writing exercises, site writing and peer criticism. The result was an ad-hoc publication, featuring writing by all participants.
